Today, International Women's Day, we ask that you use your buying power to further the mission of local and grassroots organizations that protect women and girls from abuse and help them become liberated, educated, and independent.
My reasoning: there are too many women and girls around the world who experience insurmountable pain, violence, and abuse at the hands of people, policies, monetary systems, and governments.
As the founder of Luxuree Skincare & Bath, I live by the practice of #womensupportingwomen because, throughout my career and education, I have witnessed and benefited from the care, nurturing, and mentorship of women who understood how pivotal my rising would be. I am proud to pay this practice forward.
